Standard Business Conditions

1. Services

Registration for a conference and payment of the relevant fees are the prerequisites for participating in the event booked and allow the participant to make use of all the services specified in the conference programme. After receipt of our invoice, the registration fee shall be remitted to the account of Technical Conference Management as indicated, free of charges. The fees charged must be credited to our account prior to the commencement of the conference. In exceptional cases, submission of the remittance slip at the beginning of the conference may serve as confirmation of payment. Splitting up services among several participants, e.g. the participation of two different people in one and the same conference, shall only be permissible if agreed with Technical Conference Management prior to the conference.

2. Cancellation Fees

Cancellation fees depend on the respective conference and are specified in the registration form. Cancellations are valid only if made in writing.

3. Cancellation of a Conference

Technical Conference Management reserves the right to cancel any conference (for example due to low participation). In such case, participants will be immediately refunded any and all conference fees already paid. We are, however, unable to acknowledge any claims in excess thereof (for example time expended on the preparation of presentations, cancellation of any travel arrangements).

4. Changes in the Agenda

Technical Conference Management reserves the right to substitute or remove individual presentations at a conference (for example due to the cancellation of a speaker or in case of force majeure). Such changes shall not create a right to refunding of the conference fee, either in whole or in part, or any other expenses.

5. Rejection of a Registration

Technical Conference Management may reject a registration for a conference, without specifying the reasons therefor.

6. Presentations

We choose the speakers at our conferences among the leading experts in the respective fields to the best of our knowledge and determine the topic of the presentations in agreement with the speakers. However, the preparation for as well as the presentation itself are the final responsibility of the respective speaker. Thus, we do not assume any responsibility or liability for the contents of the presentations (for example with regard to their correctness and completeness).

7. Place of Performance and Jurisdiction

The place of performance and venue shall be Langenzersdorf, Austria.
